Summary

Shortly after her second journey, Through the Looking-Glass, Alice's home is destroyed in an accidental fire that claims the lives of her family, leaving her as the sole survivor. As time passes, Alice becomes increasingly detached from reality. She is eventually admitted to Rutledge Asylum, where Dr. Heironymous Wilson oversees her care and observation. The only item Alice possesses at Rutledge is a stuffed rabbit. A decade after her admission, Alice is drawn once more into a distorted Wonderland, warped by the chaos of her fractured mind. The White Rabbit calls upon Alice to help restore a version of Wonderland that has become grotesque under the brutal reign of the Queen of Hearts. The Cheshire Cat remains by Alice's side throughout the game, often appearing to offer enigmatic guidance.
