Summary

Amnesia: Memories (known in Japan as AMNESIA V Edition) is a Japanese otome visual novel. The game serves as a remastered version of the first title in the Amnesia series, originally released for the PlayStation Portable. Like other otome games, players take control of the main female character and choose a romantic route with one of several male characters featured in the story. The game begins with the female protagonist waking up with no memory of her past or identity. With the help of Orion, a mysterious gentleman who appears by her side, they set out on a journey to uncover her lost memories. Along the way, the protagonist receives a call from another man she may recognize but cannot remember.

Storyline

A tale set in a made-up world... It was the first of August. When she woke that morning, the heroine discovered that all her memories prior to August 1st had vanished... Her entire life, from the people she knew to the life she led, was nothing but a blank slate... A young boy named Orion appeared before her, calling himself a "spirit." With Orion's help, the heroine began her journey to recover her lost past. She scoured her home for hints about her former life and found a message on her phone... The name on the screen was completely unfamiliar to her. Now, she's being asked to meet with him—a boyfriend whose identity she has no recollection of. In a situation where trust is unclear, the heroine must act carefully to keep her amnesia hidden from her partner. Because of this, the story unfolds in intricate and unpredictable ways. With no recollection of "him," the heroine will begin writing a brand-new love story, starting today...
