BLACKSAD: Under the Skin – A gripping tale of corruption and intrigue deep within the shadowy underbelly of New York City, as the suave detective John Blacksad uncovers a deadly secret. Inspired by the noir comic series of the same name, the game follows Blacksad, a private investigator pulled into a mysterious case involving a brutal murder at a boxing club. The gameplay offers an interactive experience similar to Grim Fandango, giving you full control of the character, with only objects that catch his attention being interactive.

Storyline

In 1950s New York, Joe Dunn, the proprietor of a modest boxing gym, is discovered hanging. At the same time, Robert Yale, his protégé and most promising talent, vanishes without a trace. Despite the shock and grief of these tragic events, Joe’s daughter, Sonia, resolves to carry on her father’s legacy: she assumes control of the gym and enlists John Blacksad to uncover the truth behind Robert’s disappearance. With the biggest fight of the year on the horizon, the struggling club—already teetering on the edge of bankruptcy—faces collapse without Robert. John Blacksad’s investigation will take him deep into a world where corruption is the rule, not the exception.
