In the wake of the first global biowar, a potent retrovirus transformed the planet Avaron into a breeding ground for dangerous and unfamiliar lifeforms. A small group of survivors now resides aboard O.P. Odysseus, an orbital station orbiting Avaron. Centuries later, Avaron remains a harsh and unforgiving world, though not entirely uninhabitable.
During G-Biowar I, the first global biowar, a devastating new strain of retrovirus was unleashed as a brutal retaliation by the enemy. These viruses triggered uncontrollable biological mutations, transforming the planet into a realm teeming with dangerous and unfamiliar lifeforms. Only a handful of survivors remain in stasis aboard O.P. Odysseus, an orbital platform orbiting Avalon. The station was designed to preserve the last of humanity until the planet could once again support life. The Odysseus crew has been in cryogenic suspension for centuries, and now the onboard AI has initiated their revival. Scans from the station's probes indicate that Avalon is still hostile, but not entirely uninhabitable. The challenge lies in determining where the Odysseus crew can establish a new colony. The gameplay centers on commanding an organic spacecraft to Avalon, navigating over regions identified as the least dangerous, assessing the planet’s viability, and ultimately locating a safe haven for the remaining survivors.
