Storyline
In 1960, a plane crashes into the heart of the Atlantic Ocean, leaving a man named Jack as the sole survivor. Miraculously, he washes up in front of what appears to be the entrance to an underwater facility. Without a moment's hesitation, Jack steps inside and is met with slogans extolling the virtues of Rapture, a utopia of unfettered freedom established in the 1940s by the powerful entrepreneur Andrew Ryan. But before Jack can fully grasp the significance of his surroundings, the illusion of paradise shatters, revealing only decay and disorder. Now, uncovering the fate of Rapture becomes Jack's driving purpose as he battles the terrifying consequences of unrestrained liberty.
