Summary
This is a "falling blocks" puzzle game inspired by the Bomberman franchise. The main objective is to make your opponent lose by filling their playing field to the top with debris. You achieve this by triggering chain reactions of explosions, sending unwanted rubble to your opponent's side, which they must then clear. Bombs are obtained by clearing chains of three identical blocks. These bombs can only be detonated by an explosion from a falling lit bomb that occasionally drops from the top of the screen. If the player inflicts enough damage, they can eventually unlock a massive bomb that clears a large portion of debris from the field and causes significant disruption for the opponent.
The game’s standard story mode follows Bomberman as he searches for the Golden Bomber statue. Along the way, he battles a variety of quirky characters, such as Drifty the balloon or Cecil the tiger. However, the only reward for completing this mode is unlocking a higher difficulty setting, which is achieved by finishing the entire story on the "hard" difficulty.
