Clockwork Knight is a 2.5D side-scrolling platform game in which you take on the role of the toy soldier Sir Tongara de Pepperouchau III. The game blends pre-rendered 3D visuals with a fully 3D environment. The game features four rooms that Pepper must navigate: Betsy's Room, Kevin's Room, the Kitchen, and the Attic. Each room consists of two levels and culminates in a boss battle, totaling eight levels and five final showdowns.
Sir Tongara de Pepperouchau III, affectionately known as "Pepper," is a toy soldier with a big heart and a not-so-big sense of balance. He's smitten with the Clockwork Fairy Princess, Chelsea, whose enchanting voice brings the toys to life every night at midnight. Unfortunately, Pepper is a bit of a bumbling figure, often the subject of good-natured teasing—especially when measured against his clever and charming rival, Ginger, who also has his sights set on Chelsea's affection. One fateful night, Chelsea vanishes, taken by a mysterious force that also casts a spell on some of the smaller toys, turning them into fierce, loyal minions who will stop at nothing to prevent anyone from rescuing her. Without Chelsea's voice to rouse them each night, the toys will fall into an eternal slumber. Determined to save their friend and their world, Pepper and Ginger set out on a daring mission to find Chelsea before it's too late.
