D+Vine[Luv] (pronounced Divine Love) is a standard J-RPG that employs a top-down view with a mild isometric angle, incorporating visual novel sections to deliver its story-driven gameplay. In contrast to the original PC (Windows) edition, which was released nearly two years prior, the Dreamcast version excludes all adult content.
The player steps into the shoes of Hyde, a spirited young explorer with a passion for delving into ancient dungeons in pursuit of relics from a bygone era. One day, he reaches the village of Arvil, where he stumbles upon whispers of an untouched cave nearby. Driven by curiosity, he sets off to uncover new artifacts, ignoring the fact that the cave has been abandoned for years and likely teems with dangerous creatures. To his astonishment, he finds no treasure or relic—only a mysterious girl named Yura, who has lost all her memories except for her own name.
