Global expansion announced for *Digimon World: Next Order*. *Digimon World: Next Order* is a forthcoming Digimon role-playing game. The story follows two possible protagonists: Takuto and Shiki, third-year high school students from Japan.

Storyline

The game's narrative follows two possible protagonists: Takuto and Shiki, two Japanese high school juniors. In his younger years, Takuto was an enthusiastic Digimon fan and even placed second in a national competition, but he has since become more preoccupied with the uncertainties of growing up and his future. Along with Shiki, he is transported to the Digital World, where they meet their Digimon companions, such as Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, and Palmon. Their journey is soon joined by their classmates Kouta Hirose, whose partner is a Guilmon he calls "Yukimura," and Himari Oofuchi, who teams up with a Salamon she affectionately names "Rikka."
