Summary
Mickey Saves the Day is an adventure game featuring 3D characters set against 2D backgrounds, designed for kids. Players can take on the role of either Mickey or Minnie Mouse, with appearances from various Disney characters like Goofy, Donald and Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Ludwig von Drake. The game is fully controlled with a mouse, and the cursor changes when an object is interactive. Objects can be used or collected into an inventory displayed as Mickey’s hat at the bottom of the screen. Puzzles are solved by conversing with other characters or using collected items. Every location visited is added to a map, allowing players to explore the town freely.
Storyline
The town's mayor has vanished (Mickey, when playing as Minnie and vice versa), and Mickey's longtime rival, Pete, declares himself the new mayor. His growing influence transforms the town: a massive factory is erected, and all the funds from the bank are siphoned away. The player must uncover the truth and restore harmony to the community.
