Echochrome is a puzzle game developed by Sony's Japan Studio in collaboration with Game Yarouze. The gameplay features a mannequin character navigating a world that can be rotated, where the laws of physics and reality shift depending on the viewer's perspective. The environment is filled with Oscar Reutersvärd's impossible objects. The concept draws inspiration from M. C. Escher's art, including his famous piece "Relativity." The game utilizes the Object Locative Environment Coordinate System, a system created by Jun Fujiki that determines in-game events based on the camera's viewpoint.
