Storyline

Long ago, a monstrous force of devastation tore the world apart. In those desperate times, the first Immortals awoke to their extraordinary abilities—powers so immense they vanquished the creature that had laid waste to the land, where all others had fallen short. To ensure such calamity would never return, the Immortals united to establish a Council, dedicated to maintaining peace and order across the globe, intervening whenever conflict or disorder arose. Though the Immortals wield great strength, they are few in number. They cannot watch over every corner of the world. That is why they depend on their mortal enforcers, the Arbiters, to protect the people from the everyday threats they encounter. Arbiters traverse the land, eliminating brigands, rogue beasts, and corrupt leaders; their judgment is final. But when one Arbiter begins to uncover the growing rot within her own ranks, it becomes her mission to stop a looming danger as catastrophic as the ancient beast.
