Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain

Summary

Blackrock Mountain is the second adventure in Hearthstone. This fiery realm is home to Ragnaros the Firelord and his fire elementals, Nefarian and the black dragonflight, and a powerful army of Dark Iron dwarves. The adventure consists of five wings and offers 17 total boss encounters, along with 31 new collectible cards for players to add to their decks. It also introduces a new card back and a new battlefield. Players can test their skills in Heroic mode and tackle nine Class Challenges.

Storyline

Tension is rising beneath Blackrock Mountain. In the searing fissures of the Molten Core, Ragnaros the Firelord is gathering his elemental legions, presenting a dire challenge to the black dragon Nefarian’s lofty stronghold. A fiery confrontation is on the horizon—grab your deck and show these two titans how real champions resolve their disputes: with a proper match of Hearthstone! Blackrock Mountain plunges you into the heart of Azeroth’s fiercest rivalry—the ancient clash between the elemental sovereign Ragnaros and the mighty black dragon Nefarian, the de facto leader of the black dragonflight. Nefarian may claim dominion over Blackrock Mountain, but Ragnaros and his fiery minions have long been a persistent nuisance to the dragon. This mountain can’t hold both of them. Before you carry out Nefarian’s orders against the Firelord, ask yourself: Is his support sincere, or are you merely a piece in the old wyrm’s grand design? Battle through five wings filled with legendary bosses and collect their unique cards. Overcome tricky class challenges to unlock even more powerful class cards, then test your skills in Heroic Mode to finally determine who truly rules Blackrock Mountain. Prepare your deck.
