Summary
Across the city, people are vanishing without a trace, their disappearances cloaked in mystery. While investigating these strange cases, Shinji Kido—a trainee at the online news outlet ORE Journal—finds one of the Advent Card decks in an apartment where all reflective surfaces are covered in newspaper. He is soon drawn into the Mirror World, where he uncovers the horrifying reality: individuals are being pulled through mirrors by the creatures of that realm to be consumed. Just as a mighty dragon named Dragredder is about to kill him, he is rescued by Kamen Rider Knight, Ren Akiyama. Ren is determined to win the Rider War at any cost. He is joined by a young woman named Yui Kanzaki, who is searching for her missing brother—Shiro Kanzaki, the leader of the Rider War. Impressed by Ren's power, Shinji joins the Rider War not for the reward, but to shield the innocent from the Mirror World's threat and put an end to the senseless battles among the Kamen Riders. With Dragredder as his Contract Monster, he transforms into Kamen Rider Ryuki.
