Summary
Set in the Japan-inspired Kingdom of Japone, the story begins in a land shaped by an ancient legend. Approximately 450 years prior to the events of the game, the Demon King Dragless terrorized the realm until a brave young hero emerged to defeat and imprison him. Now, after centuries of dormancy, Dragless is stirring once more, and it falls to 14-year-old Daigo Raioh, the hero’s descendant, to confront the ancient evil and end its threat for good. At the same time, a diverse cast of skilled warriors embarks on their own journeys—some driven by the Demon King’s return, like Terrific Forelock, the loyal bodyguard and childhood friend of Princess Mirona, who seeks to rescue her after she is captured by Dragless, and others with entirely different motivations, such as Misa Atago, who sets out on a quest to heal from a recent heartbreak. Ultimately, all these fighters will come to understand the true danger posed by Dragless and the urgency of the battle ahead.
