Summary

Lord Monarch is a real-time strategy war game developed by Nihon Falcom. It is regarded as the seventh entry in the Dragon Slayer series. Initially launched in 1991 for the NEC PC-9801, it was later adapted with improved theme switching in 1992 for the Super Famicom, and in 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive under the title "Lord Monarch: Tokoton Sentou Densetsu." In 1997, the game was redeveloped for Windows as "Lord Monarch Online," and made available free of charge in both Japanese and, for the first time, English.

Storyline

You are Prince Alfred, heir to the mighty King of Monarch. Having spent your youth as a carefree and idle少年, the king has decided it's time to toughen you up by thrusting you into the heat of battle. Now sixteen, you must show that you deserve to stand as the true prince of Monarch!
