Summary

Metal Max is a 1991 vehicular combat role-playing video game created by Crea-Tech and released by Data East for the Nintendo Famicom, available exclusively in Japan on May 24, 1991. It was later made available again on the Wii Virtual Console on April 27, 2010. As the first entry in the Metal Max series, the game takes place in a futuristic post-apocalyptic setting where the last remnants of humanity live in underground settlements and ancient ruins, while "monster hunters" battle dangerous creatures and lawless gangs on the surface.
