Summary

NBA 08 includes the third installment of "The Life" series, wrapping up the story of a coach known as "Coach T" as he approaches the end of his career. Players step into the shoes of one of Coach T's athletes, selecting from five distinct characters based on their preferred position or crafting a custom player. They can then take part in 60 unique scenarios. The game offers a realistic basketball experience, including press conferences, endorsement deals, and interactions with teammates, coaches, and opponents. The choices players make shape their reputation as either a team-oriented player or a disruptive individual. Performance in games can earn attribute points, enhancing the player's abilities. A Smart Shot Indicator provides visual cues before a shot is taken, using color to signal the intensity of the defense and the likelihood of making or missing the shot. NBA 08 features enhanced animations and a broadcast-style presentation with commentary by Kevin Calabro and Mark Jackson.
