Summary
NBA 2K1 (also referred to as Sega Sports: NBA 2K1 or NBA2K1) is a basketball video game and the second entry in the NBA 2K series. It was created by Visual Concepts and released by Sega under the Sega Sports brand. This title was the first in the NBA 2K series to include online multiplayer functionality and introduced street courts as playable locations, replacing the indoor arena from the first game. Notable courts featured include The Cage, Rucker Park, Franklin Park, and Goat Park. The game launched on November 1, 2000, in North America for the Dreamcast. Rapper Redman makes an appearance in the game.
