NCAA Football 2004 is an American football video game developed and published by Tiburon in 2003. It follows NCAA Football 2003 as the next title in the NCAA Football series. The cover features former USC quarterback Carson Palmer. It is playable on the N-Gage platform. The broadcasting team includes Brad Nessler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso. As an EA Sports Bio-enabled title, it works with other games that support the feature, such as Madden NFL 2004 and NASCAR Thunder 2004. The gameplay closely mirrors that of NCAA Football 2003, with updated player statistics and team rosters. Players have the option to rename athletes or build their own custom college team. If a player names their team after a school in the game, the announcers will refer to it by name and play its fight song. The game introduces new on-field presentation elements, such as players marching onto the field from their locker room with a group of flag bearers. It also includes touchdown celebrations, which can lead to penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct.
