Summary
NHL 08 is a video game that launched in North America on September 11, 2007. The Xbox 360 edition was initially set to debut alongside the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3 versions on the same day, but was postponed by one day due to shipping problems. The game introduces the Skill Stick System, a feature EA claims makes puck control more intuitive for players. It also includes a method to release the puck, maneuver around an opponent, and then reclaim the puck to execute one-on-one dekes. NHL 08 marks the first entry in the NHL series to be available on the PlayStation 3.
