Summary
Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island is the follow-up to the 2005 game Nicktoons Unite! In this title, players take control of up to six playable characters from a variety of Nickelodeon series, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, and The Fairly OddParents. The story centers around SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, Timmy Turner (alongside Cosmo and Wanda), Patrick Star, Sam Manson, and Sandy Cheeks as they work together to defend the island from a brand-new antagonist named Mawgu. Tucker Foley, Squidward Tentacles, and Jimmy Neutron also make appearances, but they serve in a supporting role and cannot be played. The game was succeeded a year later by Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots.
