Summary
Each digital athlete is given a fictional name and a nationality selected from the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, USA, Japan, and the Unified Team, each accompanied by a short snippet of their national anthem. Their real strengths and weaknesses are also defined: for example, J. Balen often breaks records in the 100 m and 110 m hurdles but performs only averagely in the hammer throw. Additionally, each AI-controlled competitor tends to excel in specific events based on their country—Germans typically dominate in archery, Italians in swimming, Russians in pole vault, Americans in sprinting, and so on.
