Onimusha Tactics

Summary

Onimusha Tactics is a turn-based strategy game where the player's forces face off against enemy units. Each level allows you to command a team of up to 10 characters. While there are no items to purchase or trade, equipment is available and can be tailored to your needs. Existing weapons and armor can be enhanced by using the souls of defeated enemies absorbed into the Oni Gauntlet. New weapons and armor can be discovered or crafted through the fusion of Genma Stones. Before an item can be fused, you must first locate its specific recipe.

Storyline

A young warrior named Onimaru is entrusted with the Oni Gauntlet as he races to protect his village from the demonic forces of Nobunaga Oda. Through the guidance of the wise old man Sandayu, Onimaru learns that despite growing up in the tranquil province of Iga, he is actually a member of the Oni clan who was hidden away. With the Oni Gauntlet, he gains the ability to absorb the souls of his foes and harness the power of the demon Genma stones to forge lost weapons and armor. Embracing his true identity and purpose, he quickly gathers a band of fighters, including his sister Ororo, and embarks on a mission to reclaim his homeland and halt Nobunaga’s demonic conquest of the land.
