Summary

Onimusha: Warlords is a grand tale set in 16th-century Japan, drawing inspiration from the legendary battle sequences of Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The story unfolds in a dark, mystical era where ambitious warlords clash for dominance over Feudal Japan. A courageous samurai named Samanosuke Akechi steps forward to rescue the captured Princess Yuki, though he underestimates the peril of his task. A vast army of demonic warriors blocks his path in his quest to avenge the princess.

Storyline

Onimusha: Warlords takes place in 16th-century Japan during the civil war led by Nobunaga Oda. You take on the role of Samanosuke Akechi, who perishes while trying to prevent the abduction of young princess Yuki, sister of Yoshitatsu Saito. But Akechi is granted a second chance at life, receiving the gauntlet of the Ogres.
