Summary

Onimusha 2 is the second entry in the Onimusha video game series, launched in May 2002. It continues the action-packed gameplay of its predecessor, including the use of various special weapons that can be enhanced by defeating foes. In addition to the main protagonist, the game introduces four additional playable characters, each playing a role in the unfolding story. Which of these characters choose to support Jubei on his journey depends on the player's decisions. Capcom included these characters to add greater depth to the narrative and enhance the sense of adventure throughout the game.

Storyline

Taking place in ancient Japan, the story follows a new main hero, Jubei Yagyu, as he seeks vengeance against a demonic army commanded by the ruthless warlord Nobunaga Oda, who destroyed his clan. As he journeys forward, Jubei discovers his oni lineage, which bestows upon him the abilities needed to fight the demons, and he joins forces with new allies who share his goal of toppling Nobunaga.
