A defining hit of the 1980s, Pac-Man follows the adventures of a small, yellow character who navigates a maze, gobbling up dots and fruit scattered throughout the playing field. Pac-Man's mission is constantly threatened by four colorful ghosts: the cautious blue one named Inky (Bashful), the persistent red one called Blinky (Shadow), the quick pink one known as Pinky (Speedy), and the easily distracted orange one, Clyde (Pokey). A single collision with any of them results in Pac-Man losing a life. To gain the upper hand, Pac-Man can consume one of the four power pellets hidden in the maze. When he does, the ghosts turn a ghostly blue, allowing Pac-Man to chase and eat them for extra points. However, this advantage is temporary, as the ghosts eventually retreat to their central lair, regroup, and resume their pursuit. Make it through several rounds, and you'll be rewarded with amusing cutscenes featuring Pac-Man and his ghostly adversaries.
