Pachislot Akumajou Dracula is a pachislot title developed by Konami Parlor Entertainment. Its visual style and setting are inspired by Castlevania: Curse of Darkness and includes many of its characters, with Trevor Belmont as the main protagonist. The game operates like a traditional slot machine but also includes cinematic sequences. A follow-up, Pachislot Akumajou Dracula II, came out in 2010. It includes a similar roster of characters as the first game, drawing from the casts of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. This was succeeded by Pachislot Akumajou Dracula III in 2012. This installment features characters from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, such as Trevor, Alucard, Sypha, Succubus, Doppelganger, and Dracula.
As a pachislot game featuring loosely connected cinematic sequences that appear at random during gameplay, the title lacks a coherent narrative structure typical of more conventional entries in the series. These cutscenes are designed to intrigue the player, though they offer minimal actual plot progression. However, according to remarks posted on the official developer's blog, the game does contain a story, albeit one that largely depends on the player's imagination to piece together the missing elements. The blog refers to the game as "another story," a phrase occasionally used to suggest the events take place in a parallel world or alternate reality. Since the game is primarily based on *Castlevania: Curse of Darkness*, some characters bear similarities to their versions from the IGA timeline. Alongside *Pachislot Akumajō Dracula II*, it presents the same narrative of Trevor battling Count Dracula, who has been resurrected with Angela's help. It's also worth noting that the brief exchanges between Trevor and Dracula hint at a prior connection between them. This backstory is expanded upon in *Pachislot Akumajō Dracula III*, which serves as a prequel to the first two games.
