Penny Racers (known as Choro Q in Japan) is a 1996 racing video game created by Tamsoft and published by Takara for the PlayStation. Sony Computer Entertainment handled the release in PAL regions. The game showcases vehicles inspired by Takara's range of Choro Q / Penny Racers toy cars, making it the first Choro Q-based game to launch outside Japan since Taito's 1984 MSX title. Zoom across asphalt race tracks, drift through icy turns in the winter stages, or spin out on muddy rally routes. Play with squashed versions of real-world cars, and challenge a friend in split-screen mode for high-speed two-player races.
