Summary

RayStorm is a scrolling shooter game set hundreds of years into the future and was one of the debut titles for the Sony PlayStation. The game features eight levels in which players take control of their "R-Gray" spacecraft, blasting anything that comes into view. Just like the other titles in the Ray Series, enemies can be eliminated using a primary weapon or by pressing and holding the missile button to target several foes at once.

Storyline

It's the year 2219, and the Secilia Federation has launched a campaign to annihilate Earth. To date, the ruthless federation has obliterated much of the planet's defense systems and vital resources. With global annihilation looming, humanity is in dire need of a hero. Unknown to the Secilia Federation, the Star Federation, an Earth-based alliance, has been secretly crafting two advanced aircraft known as the R-Gray prototypes. These powerful machines are armed with guided missiles, laser cannons, and other devastating weaponry. As Earth's last hope, you'll take command of one of the R-Gray ships and soar into battle in a critical mission to thwart the Secilia Federation's apocalyptic agenda.
