Summary
Chris Redfield makes his comeback as the central protagonist in *Resident Evil 5*, a title set five years after the events of *Resident Evil 4*. He travels to Kijuju, Africa, where he is joined by local operative Sheva Alomar on a mission to capture Ricardo Irving, a man attempting to sell bioweapons on the black market. Not long after arriving, they are confronted by swarms of locals infected with an enhanced variant of the "Las Plagas" parasite from *Resident Evil 4*, now known as "Majini." As the story unfolds, Chris uncovers the shocking truth that some familiar faces from his past are responsible for the entire operation.
