Storyline

Three months following the events of *Resident Evil 2*, Claire Redfield continues her search for her brother, Chris. She sneaks into the Umbrella Corporation’s headquarters in Paris, but is caught and rendered unconscious. Upon waking, she discovers she’s been taken to a prison on a secluded island. A sympathetic guard helps her escape, but Claire quickly encounters multiple dangers. The island is under assault by an unidentified enemy, and a new T-Virus outbreak has turned it into a nightmare landscape filled with zombies and grotesque mutations. Claire must battle the undead and confront the base’s commander—a deranged aristocrat with deep family connections to Umbrella and the origins of the T-Virus. But escaping the island is just the start of her trials.
