Serious Sam: Next Encounter

Summary

In this latest entry in the Serious Sam series, Sam faces a new and dangerous foe—Mini Sam, a malevolent clone of the hero Sam "Serious" Stone. Mini Sam has seized control of the timelock and is traveling through history, erasing ancient civilizations. It's up to Serious Sam to stop him before it's too late. The game features over 40 levels across three iconic historical settings: Ancient Rome, Feudal China, and the Legendary Atlantis. The PS2 version supports online multiplayer for up to 8 players using the broadband adapter, as well as split-screen for two players on a single console. The GameCube version allows up to four players to battle on one system. Multiplayer modes include Deathmatch, Hold the Flag, and Pass the Bomb. The full single-player campaign can also be played cooperatively, enabling two players to team up against the brutal forces of Mental and Mini-Sam.
