Spirittea

Summary

Spirittea is a slice-of-life RPG set in East Asia, following a city-based author who ventures to a quiet mountain town in search of creative inspiration. There, they stumble upon a mystical teapot that grants the ability to see into the spirit world. As odd events begin to disrupt the town, players must locate and pacify the spirits by restoring and maintaining a bathhouse to an exceptional level, allowing the spirits to relax and release their grievances. With the spirits at peace, the townsfolk become more sociable, offering opportunities to connect through shared meals, games, karaoke, fishing, and bug collecting—providing the perfect material for the author's next novel.

Storyline

A writer relocates to the countryside in search of inspiration for their novel. Fortunately, they discover an abundance of it after sipping some spirittea — a drink that grants them the ability to perceive the spirit world, where the local spirits are deeply troubled. Players must resolve their issues and restore the spirit bathhouse to bring harmony back to the mountain, all while forming friendships and pursuing hobbies with the townspeople!
