Summary
Spyro: A Hero's Tail is the fifth console title in the original Spyro series and the ninth overall. Created by Eurocom, it marked the series' debut on the Xbox, while also serving as the second entry for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube (with the Xbox version being the only one to feature widescreen support). It is the last game in the original Spyro storyline for home consoles and the only one in the series to be fully developed in Europe. The game introduces a new villain, Red, a former Dragon Elder who was exiled years prior to the game's events. Spyro the Dragon, the main character, works to stop Red with the help of his best friend Sparx, along with Hunter the Cheetah, the flying penguin Sgt. Byrd, and the mole Blink, all of whom can be played as characters.
