Summary
Another iPod Touch and iPhone game titled Street Fighter IV Volt Battle Protocol was released. The initial launch features all characters from the previous version, with the addition of new fighters: - Balrog (Japanese name - M. Bison) - Vega (Japanese name - Balrog) - Cody - Akuma (Japanese name - Gouki) First update adds: - Sakura - Makoto Second update introduces: - Yun - Yang - Fei Long
Storyline
Street Fighter IV is set several months after the events of Street Fighter II. Following Seth's escape, the S.I.N. corporation launched a new fighting tournament aimed at luring the world's most powerful warriors to aid in the completion of the BLECE project. Each fighter enters the competition for their own reasons, but S.I.N.'s true goal is to attract Ryu in order to study the Satsui no Hado, which they believe is the final key to finishing BLECE. The tournament is officially organized by S.I.N., seemingly using a series of preliminary matches and a point-based system to determine eligibility (as seen in the exchange between Seth and his subordinate regarding how Dan Hibiki barely earned enough points to qualify). It is likely that the only competitors in the tournament are the playable characters in Street Fighter IV, excluding Seth.
