Summary

Super Adventure Rockman is an interactive movie game and key offshoot of the iconic Mega Man video game series by Capcom. The gameplay blends elements of adventure and shooter genres. It switches between animated scenes, where players choose from text or arrow-based options, and first-person combat sequences.

Storyline

In the year 20XX, mysterious ancient ruins emerged in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in South America. The United Nations summoned scientists from across the globe to study and uncover the secrets of these structures. The researchers discovered a powerful electromagnetic field surrounding the ruins, strong enough to disable nearly all nearby machinery, including robotic units. No electronic devices could operate within the field, making the investigation extremely challenging. After a year of fruitless study, the U.N. abandoned the mission, concluding the ruins were remnants of the Maya civilization. They officially named the site the "Lanfront Ruins" and the central pyramid the "Temple of the Moon." Three years later, Dr. Albert W. Wily, now collaborating with Dr. Thomas Light, returned to the ruins after detecting a sudden rise in the strength of the electromagnetic field. This development offered Wily a chance to restore his reputation. Soon after his arrival, Wily discovered an ancient alien supercomputer hidden within the temple, known as Ra Moon. The system accessed data from Wily's own laptop and reactivated several of his Robot Masters from *Mega Man 2* and *Mega Man 3*. Seeing an opportunity, Wily decided to use them to take over the world. Just three weeks after Ra Moon's activation, the electromagnetic field began to spread globally, disrupting machines and electronics worldwide. Roll was caught in the field's effects and fell into a coma. Wily then made a global broadcast, demanding that the world submit to him within two weeks or face the complete shutdown of all technology. This would not only kill Roll and all the robots but also lead to the collapse of human civilization. Dr. Light quickly developed a defense to protect Mega Man and his allies from the field and sent them on a mission to stop Wily before time ran out. Along the way, Mega Man and his team fought through the ruins, battling the Robot Masters from *Mega Man 2* and *Mega Man 3* to reach the source of the field—Ra Moon. In the final confrontation, Mega Man successfully destroyed Ra Moon, causing the electromagnetic field to dissipate. Roll awoke from her coma, and all the world's machines returned to normal.
