This is the last entry of the Fire Pro series on 16-bit consoles, featuring the standard lineup of over 150 wrestlers from various international wrestling promotions, spanning styles from Shoot and Pancrase to American and Lucha. Alongside them are 80 Create-a-Wrestler slots and hidden fighters, including wrestling legends like Gotch and Thesz, as well as the roster from Blazing Tornado. Although all competitors have fictional names, many are easily identifiable through their outfits, stances, and techniques. The Create-a-Wrestler feature lets players design a wrestler from the ground up, customizing their appearance—selecting face, body type, clothing, and color schemes—and their fighting style, with a variety of stances and over 500 moves, each suited to specific playstyles and abilities. To enhance realism in AI-controlled matches, the mode also includes options to set move preferences. Five different game modes are available: World Championship (singles and tag team), Battle Royale, 5-Man Elimination, League Battle, and One Night Dream Match. A range of referees, each with unique personalities, and customizable rules are also included, such as whether to allow or disallow out-of-ring combat and whether to enable or disable disqualifications for illegal moves.
