Summary

Two centuries have passed since the dawn of the "Space Era," the era in which humanity began its expansion beyond Earth. However, by the early 21st century, two massive meteors struck the planet, devastating large portions of Earth and plunging civilization into turmoil. By the 179th year of the Space Era, the Earth Federal Government uncovered a hidden technology, known as Extra-Over Technology or EOT, inside a third meteor that had impacted the Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific. Dr. Bian Zoldark, during his investigation of the meteor, discovered that the creators of the EOT were en route to Earth to recover it. To protect the planet, the government began developing a new class of humanoid mechs called Personal Troopers. The alien species responsible for creating the Extra-Over Technology, identified by the Earth Federal Government as the Aerogaters, first engaged in combat with an Earth vessel sent to investigate their presence in the outer solar system. This initial clash ended in a loss for the Aerogaters, leading them to request peace negotiations with the Earth Federation Army. A secret meeting was set to take place at a hidden base in Antarctica, but the talks were sabotaged by a radical group known as the Divine Crusaders. The Divine Crusaders attacked and eliminated the Aerogater delegation before turning their weapons on the Federation forces. Dr. Bian Zoldark, exposed as the leader of the Divine Crusaders, publicly revealed the existence of the Aerogaters and launched a rebellion against the Earth Government. As Earth descends into civil war, a fresh Aerogater force is advancing, determined to reclaim their lost technology.
