The Stetchkov Syndicate expansion introduces seven new solo missions centered on the Stetchkov family, an Eastern European crime organization, along with fresh multiplayer content and additional features. Alongside the seven new maps, The Stetchkov Syndicate brings a range of enhancements for both single player and multiplayer. These include new weapons and gear, the option to punch resistant characters, and a command enabling the team to clear a room through two separate entry points at once. Multiplayer additions feature a capture the flag-style mode, VoIP communication, and support for 10-player co-op, among other updates.
In *The Stetchkov Syndicate*, players take on the role of the element leader in the Fairview SWAT team, who now face off against the eponymous criminal organization responsible for trafficking drugs and weapons into the city. The game opens with the SWAT team arriving at a violent shootout at a video arcade in a dilapidated district, where they discover that local drug dealers are facing a new and dangerous rival. Shortly after, the team is called to a halfway house where a botched robbery has left the perpetrators holed up inside. The situation becomes more complex as it becomes clear that an unknown source is arming various groups, including a radical Christian cult and a group of angry farmers with automatic weapons and explosives. In response, the Fairview SWAT team launches a direct assault on the Stetchkovs, beginning with a raid on a drug lab they operate in an abandoned home. The conflict escalates when the Stetchkov syndicate and a rival gang clash at a subway station, putting civilians in the middle of the firefight. After SWAT brings the situation under control, they execute a search warrant at a warehouse belonging to a Stetchkov front company, where they capture the syndicate's top brass and put an end to their criminal empire.
