Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2013 video game released by Activision and created by Magic Pockets, inspired by the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. It marked the first video game adaptation of the Nickelodeon show, introducing a range of antagonists from the show’s inaugural season. In January 2017, digital copies of the game, along with other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles titles from Activision, were removed from all online marketplaces after the company decided not to extend the licensing agreement. A Nintendo 3DS edition was later combined on a single cartridge with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze and launched as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Master Splinter's Training Pack on November 3, 2015, by Abstraction Games.
One night, as the four Turtles patrol the rooftops of New York, they are suddenly attacked by Foot Soldiers. Soon after, with April's help, they discover that the Foot Clan has constructed a Mutagen bomb intended to transform the whole city. Once the brothers successfully disarm the device, the Turtles receive a call from April’s phone, which has been taken over by Shredder. He has captured April and is demanding that the Turtles hand over Splinter in exchange for her safety.
