Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2003 Game Boy Advance game inspired by the 2003 animated series. In the game, each Turtle features individual levels to play through. Alongside the standard side-scrolling stages, players can enjoy third-person racing segments, a shell-glider level for Donatello, and a motorcycle race between Raphael and Casey Jones. The game was also released as part of a double-pack bundle with its follow-up, TMNT 2: Battle Nexus.
Soon after a squad of Mouser Robots obliterate the Turtles' former lair, they launch an assault on their new hideout. The Turtles eventually track the machines back to Baxter Stockman's factory, where they rescue young April O'Neil. Later, Michelangelo irritates Raphael to the point where Raphael retreats to the surface. There, he runs into members of the Purple Dragons and crosses paths with Casey Jones, who shares a mutual hatred for the gang. Meanwhile, Stockman creates invisible Foot Tech Ninjas for the Foot Clan to capture Raphael, compelling the Turtles to stage a rescue and prompting Donatello to deploy a cloaking device detector to effectively battle the hidden warriors. Soon after, they face off against genetically altered creatures. After completing all four stages, the Turtles launch an attack on the Foot Clan's headquarters, where they battle Hun before confronting the Foot leader himself, The Shredder.
