The Incredible Hulk was intended to be a video game developed by toy and game company Parker Brothers in 1983 for the Atari 2600. Originally set for release in the fall of 1983, the game's timing overlapped with the 1983 video game crash, which followed the controversial launch of E.T. in December 1982. Amid this industry downturn, many companies, including Parker Brothers, chose to halt the release of games already in production for the Atari 2600. As a result, The Incredible Hulk was never released to the public.
