Summary
TNA iMPACT!: Cross the Line is the first handheld video game developed by the professional wrestling organization, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). The DS edition was created from scratch and includes a smaller roster, though it introduces new playable stars like Hulk Hogan, Creed, Foley, and Curry Man. The game offers a fresh kind of career mode, with Bound for Glory and Victory Road serving as the two paths to TNA supremacy. In Bound for Glory, take on a series of opponents as your chosen superstar, building alliances and rivalries along the way in a personalized story for each wrestler. In Victory Road, you can aim for the top of the heavyweight ranks, form the ultimate tag team, or conquer Ultimate X. The DS version introduces new match formats such as Six Sides of Steel, Cage Match, Four Corners Match (Four Way Elimination Match), and several other new styles. Classic match types like Singles, Tag, and Ultimate X are also included, along with other fan-favorite formats. New venues featured in the game include locations in Orlando, Florida; Mexico; the Armory; Tokyo, Japan; London, England; the Freedom Center; and Las Vegas, Nevada.
