Summary

Words are vanishing without a trace, and no one understands why... The Lost Word Incident has swept through Gensokyo. Join Reimu, Marisa, and the vast roster of characters from Touhou Project as you journey across Gensokyo to uncover the mystery and restore the missing words. Set in the world of Gensokyo, Touhou LostWord is an official spin-off of Touhou Project, licensed by Team Shanghai Alice.

Storyline

The place I found myself in is "Fantasyland." I am... who? When the hero awakens, he discovers he's in the garden of the Murgatroyd estate. He calls out to Alice and Patchouli, who are setting up for a tea gathering, but they have no memory of ever meeting her. They assume she might be a friend of Marisa, who is running behind schedule, so the hero offers to assist with the setup. Marisa arrives late as they're chatting and laughing, yet she doesn't recognize the protagonist either, asking, "Well, who are you?" Marisa also appears clueless about who the hero is, but both are surprised and comment, "You're so random," before the tea party resumes. Then Reimu shows up and presents them with something. It was a stunning gem that even Alice and Patchouli had never seen before.
