Summary

World Series Baseball 2K2, also known as World Series Baseball on the Xbox, is a sports title created by Visual Concepts and released by Sega for the Dreamcast and Xbox platforms. It marks the first entry in the modern series to appear on the Xbox and the first in the franchise developed by Visual Concepts. It follows the World Series Baseball games that were previously available on the Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast. The game launched in 2001, timed with the start of the 2002 baseball season. Both the game and other 2K titles on the Dreamcast have had their online features restored and can now be played fully online.
