Summary

Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone is a Japanese role-playing game and the second installment in the Dept. Heaven series. It follows the story of a young girl named Yggdra, whose family was murdered and whose kingdom was taken over by the empire of Bronquia. To reclaim her homeland, she must gather the most powerful warriors across the land and face the Emperor of Carnage, Gulcasa.

Storyline

Under the rule of a royal family said to be of divine descent, Fantasinia thrives as a land of peace and prosperity—until this harmony is shattered by the aggressive invasion of the Empire of Bronquia. At the helm of this conquest is the young Emperor Gulcasa, who rose to power through a ruthless coup. With his Imperial Army, he wages a merciless campaign against the people of Fantasinia and the forces of King Ordene. Princess Yggdra Yuril Artwaltz, the lone survivor of the royal bloodline, flees with the kingdom’s last hope: the sacred blade Gran Centurio. Making her way to the southernmost part of the continent, she meets a peculiar thief named Milanor, a young man fated to aid in the liberation of her homeland.
