Summary

A secret lies at the heart of this Yu-Gi-Oh! duel, and the only way to uncover it is by emerging victorious! Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Master of the Card transports you into the world of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, where you'll face off against the Duelist Corps on the mysterious island of Ragnarok. Who exactly are the Duelist Corps, and what is their true goal? Discover the answers through an all-new story that revolves around the Wii-exclusive Duel of Legend Cup. Challenge 20 Yu-Gi-Oh! characters, including some making their first appearance in a video game. Whether playing solo or online with a friend, you'll have access to more than 4,500 Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to use in battle.

Storyline

The game is set on the island of Ragnarok, home to a structure known as Yggdrasil. The island has fallen under the control of the sinister mastermind, Surtr. Throughout the island, the player faces off against the Duelist Corps, whose true identities and motivations are gradually uncovered as the story unfolds. After completing Story Mode, players gain access to the Niflheimr region. Unlike other areas, Niflheimr only features Transcenders as opponents, but in Free Duel Mode, new challengers become available every two floors completed. Players can also discover journal entries that provide insight into the history of Ragnarok and the tale of a group of individuals who arrived on the island long before the events of the game.
