Monster Hunter Portable 3rd è un gioco della serie Monster Hunter per il sistema PlayStation Portable, rilasciato in Giappone il 1 dicembre 2010. Il gioco è stato successivamente pubblicato, come parte della serie PlayStation Portable Remaster, su PlayStation 3. Il gioco introduce nuove regioni, mostri e un sistema di combattimento Felyne rivisto. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd non è un aggiornamento di Monster Hunter Freedom Unite o Monster Hunter Tri. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd è invece distinto dal resto della serie, e gran parte del gioco è stata completamente rimodellata. Tuttavia, è anche il successore di Monster Hunter Freedom Unite come terzo gioco della serie Portable.
