Marble Marcher is rendered entirely in real time using ray-marching—a technique akin to ray-tracing—and takes place on the surface of continuously shifting fractals. The objective is to guide your marble to the finish line as swiftly as possible, with 24 distinct levels to conquer. The game was made possible by a custom fractal physics engine created by CodeParade, enabling rapid collision detection with fractals and other procedurally generated elements. To my knowledge, this is the first game to ever employ such a method.
